NESA's Department of Continuing Education schedules courses primarily to give licensed acupuncturists an opportunity to advance their professional skills and development.
Courses are typically offered on weekends and allow practitioners to obtain the continuing acupuncture education units (CAEs) required to maintain licensure. Several classes are structured to allow the general public and other health care professionals to learn about the benefits of Oriental medicine for their own personal enhancement or to improve their clinical practices.
