Kiiko will demonstrate her cutting-edge treatments for digestive disorders and related symptoms, with a special focus on the Small Intestine. Due to the widespread use of antibiotics, modern diet, stress and more, many patients suffer disorders that can benefit from strengthening the Small Intestine. Drawing from 8 extraordinary meridian theory and research into classical point function, Kiiko's approach can benefit GI tract disorders, pain conditions, inflammation, autoimmune disease, and more.

Japanese acupuncture style is based on abdominal palpation. Most of the time, we are palpating the small intestine organ From an anatomical perspective. 80% of the immunity is based on the gut health, and pressure pain on the small intestine indicates immune system imbalance or inflammation. Digestive disorders of the small intestine are very common in the US compared to other countries.  Often the abdomen is showing many EV or 5 phase patterns because the small intestine is not in balance. For better diagnostic and treatment outcomes we need to clear the small intestine first.  In this class we will focus on the initial diagnosis and treatment of small intestine.

Learning Objectives:

1. Learning how to integrate Kiiko’s style for greater success in your acupuncture practice

2. Learning how to treat and strengthen small intestine and associated biomedical conditions through Kiiko’s style of abdominal palpation and treatment strategies.

3. Learning how to communicate with patients and educate them easily based on the palpatory findings
