New Student Orientation
All students attend an extensive, one-day orientation program to learn about NESA and smooth their transition.
It is extremely important that you attend this exciting program! You will receive handbooks and the curriculum outlines for the four tracks of study (Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Pain Management, and Dual), review important policies and procedures, have your ID picture taken, participate in the mandatory infectious disease training, and have the opportunity to meet your new classmates. All new students must complete the infectious disease training before being allowed to attend class.
New to the orientation program in 2008 - NESA Internet Forum for new students: This forum was established to provide NESA alumni, students and faculty with a means ito learn from one another. Through the forum, new students can discuss issues about student life, search for possible roommates/housing opportunities and meet new classmates. In addition, new students can ask questions of current NESA students who serve as on-line mentors to help prepare for the start of academic life in the fall term.
All new students will receive log-in information upon acceptance to NESA. For more information, please contact Craig Allard, Student Affairs Coordinator, at callard@nesa.edu.
