Deirdre D’Silva, MAOM, LicAc

A 2005 graduate of NESA, Deirdre D’Silva is trained in Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Originally from the Boston area, Deirdre graduated from Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in history and Spanish and a minor in health science.

Since graduation, Deirdre served on the board of the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Society of Massachusetts (AOMSM) from 2005 until the spring of 2009. Deirdre also volunteered with the Boston Veteran’s Community Acupuncture Project (VCAP), and worked with a group of other local acupuncturists trying to establish a free acupuncture clinic for returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. Before joining the faculty, Deirdre served as a teaching assistant in many core and Japanese courses.
